Responsible for building and owning relationships with existing customers to drive loyalty and thereby meet/exceed sales revenue goals. In this role you will seek to fully understand the customer by uncovering business needs on an ongoing basis, keeping account contacts updated and maintaining the overall account profile over time. Furthermore, you will champion account level customer satisfaction by driving closure to outstanding account issues working with other internal teams. Through this combination of efforts the account manager lays the foundation for additional Hosted VoIP, Managed and Cloud Services or upgrades to their existing solutions. This individual will be the ultimate advocate for the customer to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.


  • Contact an assigned set of installed SMB customers to solidify the current relationship as part of an overall contact strategy

  • Work with internal campaign teams to own and fix customer issues, ensuring overall account satisfaction; respond to account needs as they arise in a timely and comprehensive manner

  • Maintain existing revenue and attain new revenue goals by cross-selling to existing customers the value of a campaign's suite of services

  • Educate the customer on a campaign's services and key events on an ongoing basis

  • Field an average of 30 phone calls per day as part of overall contact strategy for particular campaigns

  • Record and forecast sales activities and revenue achievement using

  • Consistently follow the campaign's established sales model and processes

  • Accurately maintain account details in the campaign's CRM database

  • Align with the campaign's performance management model to meet KPIs and customer care targets


  • Two years of quota carrying B2B account management or selling experience (telecom, internet, technology, SaaS or VoIP sales strongly preferred)

  • Previous inside sales account management experience preferred

  • Sales methodology training desired

  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills

  • Ability to operate with a positive mindset

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
