The Software Consultant is responsible for interacting directly with ConnectWise Automate partners for consulting and implementation needs. This role must have a strong understanding of the Automate platform in order to perform server, cloud, and on premise implementations/consulting. The objective of this position is to deliver quality technical solutions in a timely manner by analyzing needs, engaging in research, collaborating with others, resolving partner issues, and documenting solutions while providing best practice Automate environments to our partner base. The Software Consultant will be expected to support product installations and configurations during the post-sales process, based on standard guidelines.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

  • Coordinate software configurations and consulting via online webinar, email and phone sessions according to client billable hours

  • Communicate via phone, email and web-based applications to conduct technical training, system configuration and troubleshooting

  • Support product installation and configuration during the pre and post-sale process

  • Document all customer interactions using hosted business automation and ticketing software

  • Improve product documentation to help customers and minimize client services utilization

  • Maintain an average customer survey rating based on department goals

  • Verify bugs raised against products

  • Other duties as assigned based on project scopes, statement of work and SDLC release support

  • Basic experience with web technologies such as CSS, XML, JavaScript, HTTP/S and HTML; experience in utilizing MySQL queries for the purpose of troubleshooting, gathering information and/or reporting

  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications at the desktop and server level

  • Server level technical skills: server builds and administration, setup and support, antivirus management; virtual environment administration
